If you’re getting married in Ohio in November, the Hyatt Regency at the Arcade is the place to do it! When I woke up on the morning of Kendal and Kurt’s wedding and saw that it was raining, I didn’t panic for a second. I’ve shot at the arcade before and knew that I probably wouldn’t even want to go outside — the inside of the building is just THAT GOOD.
From her dress to the flowers, every detail of their day was beautiful, especially paired with all the romantic lights throughout the venue. I have to say though that my favorite picture (yes, even more than the twinkly lights….though it pains me to say that!) is the ONE shot we did get outside at the end of the night.
It was cold and rainy, but Kendal and Kurt trusted the creative process and followed me outside for one quick shot, my last one of the night. As soon as I saw it on the back of my camera I knew it’d be my favorite shot of the year.
