I’m only recently discovering adventure sessions, but after a few this year I don’t know how I’ll ever survive without MORE. It requires a lot more planning (like with actual paper maps FYI — turns out GPS doesn’t work in the wild), but the reward is EVERYTHING.
Katie & Lee met me in Mount Rainier National Park for their adventure engagement session (in this case, by adventure I mean we had to hike the Pacific Crest Trail and scale literal mountains to get the shot) and I finally got to experience the PNW is all it’s glory. I learned what it means to scramble (and actually did a bit myself!), snacked on fresh blueberries that were growing everywhere, and spent a lot of time channeling Chris McCandless. OH, and I can’t forget the subalpine wildflower field that was our backdrop at sunset!
