There are few places in Youngstown prettier than the Rose Garden in May, so for our first spot we had to go there! But Dana & Jeramey weren’t sure about what to do for their second location.
They go out to Lake Milton a lot in the summer, so after talking to them I knew that it’d be a perfect place to get photos during sunset. And we found some other unique spots along the way — like an abandoned plant, reminiscent of the walking dead (I’ll admit, Dana and I were a little spooked). I mean what’s more creepy than an abandoned factory out in the middle of no where?! There was even a pile of bones (Jeramey says it was probably a Coyote’s dinner remains, but I say Zombies). We were in and out quickly, but left some glitter to brighten the place up a bit. Although now it looks like there was a rave, and THEN there was a zombie attack.
The point of the trip out there was to go to my FAVORITE spot. The first time I saw this road I thought “I could get married here”, that’s how beautifully magnificent it is. But logistically, it just wouldn’t make sense — too many bugs, no parking, no where for chairs, etc etc….it’s literally just a road. But it’s the prettiest road in Ohio (i’d put money on it!). So that’s why it’s one of my favorite locations for an engagement session. There isn’t much flexibility on the wedding day, so I love to embrace spontaneity when I can!
