Kayla & Kelly celebrated their marriage at The Sheperd Place in Casstown, Ohio with their closest friends and family. The day started with ALL the girls getting ready in the main house, which was so much fun having everyone together! Kelly and her bridal party got ready upstairs while Kayla’s half used the lower level. And I have to say that having two bouquets, two sets of jewelry and shoes, two dresses, and double all my other favorite wedding day things was amazing!
The Sheperd Place had so many fun details to work with, from the floral walls to the vintage couch (that Christie and I carried all over the place. Anything for the shot, right?) every single detail was beautiful. We had a blast exploring the venue and I can’t thank Kelly & Kayla enough for planning a day that gave us enough time to really take advantage of the all the photo ops!
Wedding days are always a little emotional for me, but same-sex weddings tend to get me a little more. To see Kayla & Kelly surrounded by so many people who love and support their relationship, no questions, was truly inspiring. And I think the world corroborated my thoughts by gifting them a beautiful rainbow over their reception (insert a billion cry face emojis). See photo below.
Kayla & Kelly: Thank you for the opportunity to shoot an amazing day!! You guys are my favorites, ever.
