Monica and Nolan originally planned to get married at Great Lakes Brewing Company in Cleveland, but with all the COVID restrictions they decided to move their party to the backyard! They only had a couple months to pull it together, but looking in the backyard that night with all the twinkle lights strung above the dance floor surrounded by ferns, tons of beautiful blooms, and their closest friends and family — you never would have guessed this wasn’t Plan A.
Guests were greeted with a chalk drawing of Monica & Nolan’s “Trailhead”, an ode to their love of the outdoors and hiking. One of my favorite details was the cake topper, which the bride made out of clay and displayed them in all their hiking glory! The tables were full of beautiful, jewel-toned flowers designed by Diane Elizabeth Designs that gave tons of vibrant colors and a subtle boho-look. All in all I’d say it was a success, and judging by the smiles plastered on their faces all night…I think they’d agree.
Congratulations Monica & Nolan, here’s to a lifetime of happiness & lots of adventuring!:)
