It’s no surprise that couples hoping to get married in 2020 are having to deal with the numerous hurdles associated with planning a wedding during a global pandemic. And many, like Alicia and Rob, have opted to postpone their big celebration in lieu of small, “micro” weddings on their original date.
What’s a micro wedding??? Basically everything that happens on a traditional wedding day but on a much smaller scale, like less than 10 people according to the state of Ohio 🙂
Alicia and Rob got ready together in their apartment overlooking University Circle, with only a few of their immediate family members. Afterwards we all headed to the Cleveland Museum of Art where they had a rabbi come to officiate the ceremony under the most beautiful tree by the oval.
We did the cake, toasts, and first dance on the side of the road (literally) and IDK if I would believe how beautiful it looked without actually seeing the pictures.
Even though this wasn’t their original plan, it was still magical and full of all the good stuff you’d find under “normal” circumstances at a wedding. And honestly? Maybe even MORE magic. If this is what Covid weddings look like, I’m here for it 🙂
