Bahá’í House of Worship Engagement Session by Chicago Wedding Photographer Lindsey Ramdin. View more engagement sessions Here!

When I first booked Makayla & Joey for their Youngstown Wedding I was thrilled about the opportunity to travel to Chicago for their engagement session. We opted for two different locations with varying scenery and I feel like we struck GOLD with our choices. As I first walked up to the Bahá’í House of Worship, I was completely in AWE of how beautiful the scenery is. Coupled with a gorgeous blue sky and puffy white clouds, we were able to capture vibrant and colorful portraits.

I’ve only shot in Chicago a few times but I feel confident this is one of the most beautiful portrait locations in the city. It’s easy, too! I always worry about parking in bigger cities like Chicago but the street parking around the temple was plentiful, making it an easy option for wedding and engagement photos.

My favorite part of the temple are the stairs leading down, especially when the sun hits just right. If you’re ever in Chicago and are looking for something to do, this is definitely worth a stop!

After the temple we headed downtown to the historic Financial District. When I see wedding photographs in Chicago more often than not I can spot at least one taken in this area. And rightfully so! There’s just something about the big buildings and glass that gives off the best vintage city vibes! Makayla’s jumpsuit paired with Joey’s green suit looked PERFECT. I cannot wait to photograph their wedding this summer!
