Cleveland Wedding Photographer Lindsey Ramdin captures this Chic downtown engagement session.

I met Allison & Andrew in downtown in front of the Cleveland Library. She sent me a text as I was walking over saying that I wouldn’t be able to miss them! Sure enough, as I was crossing the street I immediately noticed a gorgeous white dress with TONS of blonde hair!

Their first outfit was perfect for the chic vibes of downtown Cleveland. They photograph effortlessly and made it so easy to capture romantic, candid photographs of the two of them around the city. I love recommending two varying outfits for this type of session. The best approach is to bring something more formal, like Allison and Andrew are wearing here. Even if the men decide to opt-out of a full suit, a simple suit jacket can help elevate your look. For Allison, I love that she wore a nice bridal white! You only get to plan a wedding once so why not celebrate every step of the way!

When we wrapped up downtown we headed over to Mentor Headlands State Park to catch the sunset by the water. This is one of my favorite Cleveland locations for those who want a nice view of Lake Erie and don’t want to battle the crowds. The tall grass that lines the path to the water is absolutely gorgeous and gives me major South Carolina vibes. Allison wore her mom’s vintage 1970’s prom dress and we danced to Taylor Swift’s Folklore as the sun came down. It couldn’t have been more romantic and I am just thrilled to be their wedding photographer!
